pilots
To be eligible for a student pilot certificate, a person must:
•  Be at least 16 years old.
• Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language.

A student pilot may not act as PIC of an aircraft:


• That is carrying a passenger.
• That is carrying property for compensation or hire.
• For compensation or hire.
• In furtherance of a business.
• On an international flight.

• Can fly any single-engine airplane
(which do not require additional certification).
• Can carry passengers.
•  Can request a special VFR .
• Can fly into all the airspaces, except class A (unless IFR rated).
