1. VATA DOSHA
A. Characteristics:

Elements: Space and Air.


Qualities: Dry, cold, light, mobile, and erratic.
Physical Traits: Thin frame, dry skin, tendency
towards constipation, cold hands, and feet.
Emotional Traits: Creative, quick-thinking,
energetic, but prone to anxiety and restlessness.
Vata dosha
2. Imbalance symptoms
Physical Imbalance: Dry skin, constipation, weight loss, joint pain, and
insomnia.
• Mental/Emotional Imbalance: Anxiety, fear, restlessness, and lack of
focus.
• C. Balancing Vata Dosha:

• Warm, nourishing diet.


• Regular routines and consistent sleep patterns.
• Gentle exercise, such as yoga or tai chi.
• Calming practices like meditation and self-care.
2. Pitta dosha
• A. Characteristics:

• Elements: Fire and Water.


• Qualities: Hot, sharp, oily, light, and intense.
• Physical Traits: Medium build, warm body temperature,
sensitive skin, and strong digestion.
• Emotional Traits: Intelligent, ambitious, organized, but
prone to anger and irritability.
• B. Imbalance Symptoms:

• Physical Imbalance: Inflammation, heartburn, skin rashes, excessive


sweating, and diarrhea.
• Mental/Emotional Imbalance: Aggression, impatience,
perfectionism, and critical behavior.
• C. Balancing Pitta Dosha:

• Cooling and soothing diet, including fresh fruits and vegetables.


• Avoidance of spicy, fried, and greasy foods.
• Engaging in calming activities like swimming or spending time in
nature.
• Practicing stress-management techniques like deep breathing or
aromatherapy
3. KAPHA DOSHA
• A. Characteristics:

• Elements: Earth and Water.


• Qualities: Heavy, slow, stable, cool, and oily.
• Physical Traits: Heavy build, thick hair and skin, good
stamina, and strong immunity.
• Emotional Traits: Calm, patient, nurturing, but prone to
possessiveness and stubbornness
• B. Imbalance Symptoms:

• Physical Imbalance: Weight gain, congestion, excessive sleep, water retention,


and lethargy.
• Mental/Emotional Imbalance: Attachment, depression, resistance to change,
and lack of motivation.
• C. Balancing Kapha Dosha:

• Light, warm, and spicy diet with an emphasis on whole grains and steamed
vegetables.
• Regular exercise and engaging in activities that promote movement and
stimulation.
• Incorporating invigorating practices like dry brushing or sauna sessions.
• Cultivating mental stimulation through learning and creative outlets
