 INTRODUCTION

◍ The proposed project aims to develop a distributed library

management system that leverages the power of distributed
databases to efficiently manage library resources and provide seamless
access to information across multiple locations. This system will
enhance the functionality and accessibility of library services,
benefiting both librarians and library users.

 BACKGROUND

Database management systems are essential for organizations to manage large

databases and perform transactions. These database applications not only store data,
but also manage them, synchronize them, and help in information retrieval without
errors. Making manual entries and keeping track of due dates is not easy when the
user’s size is more. This work implements a library management system database
application to help librarians manage all tasks in an efficient and user-friendly
manner.

 MOTIVATION

The project motivation is to come up with a library management system database

application that does the jobs of the librarian like maintaining book
records,maintaining user records, due dates, fines, etc. efficiently and in a quick
time without errors. This will enhance the user experience and streamline the
overall library operations
