ADMINISTERING THE LITERACY TEST
1. Collection and Distribution. Chief Examiners (School Heads) shall
collect the test materials, answer sheets, and score sheets at the
Division LRMDS office at 6:00 am and return the same materials
immediately after the consolidation of results.

2. Proctors shall claim the sealed test materials from the chief examiners
and check the completeness of the test materials at the school level.

3. Before the test begins, provide students with a brief overview of the
test rules, and check the materials. Emphasize the importance of
maintaining academic integrity, following instructions, and adhering to
time limits. Remind the students to prohibit the use of cell phones and
calculators during the test.
ADMINISTERING THE LITERACY TEST
Proctors shall ensure to distribute the test materials
securely. Ensure that each student receives the correct test
materials. Remind the students not to write anything in
the test materials (Test Paper). Double-check that there are
no errors or missing pages in the materials. Distribute the
materials in a consistent and fair manner to avoid any
perception of favoritism.
Monitor the test session. Only the answer sheet and a ball
pen or pencil and sharpener be in the hands of the students.
The students will use the back of the answer sheet for math
computations. Grades 1-2 learners shall answer in the test
materials while Grade 3-10 shall write their answers in the
answer sheets. Proctors shall actively monitor the testing
environment to discourage any form of cheating or
misconduct.
ADMINISTERING THE LITERACY TEST
Answer questions appropriately. If students need questions or
need clarification during the test, proctors shall respond
appropriately.

Collect test materials securely. Once the test is completed,

proctors shall collect all test materials promptly and securely
from each student. Ensure that students have completed all
required sections, filled out answer sheets correctly, and
returned any additional resources provided.

Proctors shall submit all the test materials, answer sheets and
score sheets (placed inside the provided envelope) to the Chief
Examiner, seal the envelope and affix their signature across the
envelope.
The Chief Examiners shall submit all the materials at the
Division Library Hub after the test.
