COURSE INFORMATION
Rasyonale:
Ang mga tradisyon ng pagpapamana ng panitikang pambansa: pasalindila, pasalinsulat, at pasalintroniko ang isasaalang-alang sa pag-aaral. Mapanuri ang pag-aaral kaya ang ilang batayang teoryang
pampanitikan ay isasaalang-alang din. Kaugnay nito, aalamin ang kaligirang pangkasaysayan ng bawat genre: Sanaysay, Tula, Maikling Kuwento, Novela, at Dula mula sa katutubo hanggang sa kaanyuang
kontemporaryo. Pagtatangahal ng mga akdang pampanitikan upang masukat ang kakayahan sa pag-arte.
Deskripsyon ng Kurso:
Ang asignaturang ito ay magbibigay kasanayan sa produksyon ng mga malikhaing obra at sariling likhang mga estudyante sa iba’t ibang midyum ng interpretasyon tulad ng sabayaang
pagbigkas, madulang pagbasaa, readers chamber teathre, pantomina at aplikasyon ng multi-media.

Under the College new grading system, grades are assigned according to an eleven-level scale with the indicated point values and descriptions. These are:

74 & below 5.0 Unacceptable Performance
AW The student officially withdrew from the course within the period allowed by the College as shown in the Withdrawal Slip submitted by the student to the Office of the Registrar.
UW The student unofficially withdrew from the course without permission from Office of the Registrar.
INC The student has not fulfilled the course requirements within the semester. It is a temporary grade which obliges the student to complete the requirement within one year from the date (semester)
the incomplete was incurred.
Course Policy
On Attendance
1. Attendance will be checked by the instructor and the class beadle every meeting.
2. 15 minutes would be the grace period for the latecomers. Beyond the grace period, s/he would be considered as absent.
3. Three times tardy in class would be equivalent for one absence.
4. Attendance would be considered when rating class participation.
5. Attendance would be checked to monitor if a student is still part of the class. For absentee student, the University policy in dropping a student from the course would be strictly observed.
On Class Participation
1. If one is scheduled to do an oral presentation but failed to come on time, the class will not wait for him/her so s/he loses the chance to report unless s/he made prior arrangement with the course or with
his/her classmates regarding his/her absence or tardiness.
2. During one’s scheduled presentation, s/he should also take the responsibility to facilitate the routines of the class.
3. In case the instruction is not around 15 minutes after the start of the class time without any notice for the class, the presenters could proceed to the presentation under the supervision of a co-teacher.
On Course Requirements
1. Artifacts/portfolio entries must be strictly submitted as scheduled.
2. Each artifact has deadline for submission. It is required that every artifact/entry in the portfolio be given during the agreed upon-deadlines.
3. Failure to submit them on the set deadline may not be accepted or would have corresponding demerits.
4. If the final portfolio is not submitted during the agreed upon-deadline, the student will receive a grade of INC. The student must re-submit said portfolio not later than a week before midterm of the next
semester.
On Examinations
1. The course uses alternative assessment. Thus, less pen and paper exams are expected.
2. Examinations will be administered as scheduled.
3. Delayed examination may be given consistent to the College Policy on Delayed Examination.
