Course Description: This is an overview of Family and Consumer Life Skills discipline including philosophy, areas of specialization, role in societal development.

BTLED02: Demonstrate broad and coherent, meaningful knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education.
BTLED03: Apply with minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education.
BTLED04: Demonstrate higher level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, learning skills needed for higher learning.
BTLED05: Manifest a deep and principled understanding of the learning processes and the role of the teacher in facilitating these processes in
their students.
BTLED06: Show a deep and principled understanding of how educational processes relate to larger historical, social, cultural, and political
processes.
BTLED 07: Apply a whole range teaching process skills (including curriculum development, lesson planning, materials development educational assessment
and teaching approaches; and
BTLED08: Reflect on the relationships among the teaching process skills, the learning processing in the students, the nature of the content /subject matter,
and other factors affecting educational processes in order to constantly improve their teaching knowledge, skills and practices.

Make an essay on how to promote Agriculture as a form of living. 

give its classifications.

Course Requirements:
In order to pass this course, you must:
1. Attend the class regularly,
2. Active and intelligent participation to the class discussion and activities,
3. Obtain a high score for every quiz, and
4. Achieve a passing mark in the major examination

 Major Examination (Midterm and Final Term) – (30%)


Examinations are administered to evaluate the students learning during class discussion. As mentioned, this exam will be administered and given at the same time to all learners. Written
examination includes the topics that were covered from lesson that discussed based on the topic provided in the syllabi. Questions will be coming from the course reading and other course materials provided
by the instructor.
 Quizzes - (15%)
At the end of every lesson, quizzes are administered to all learners. These tasks will test the students learning of the concepts based on the course materials. The quiz will be administered
synchronously. Meaning, it will be given on the same day and time as agreed upon in the class schedule. A special quiz will not be provided unless a valid justification is presented. As shown, fifteen percent
(15%) of the student grade will be coming from the quizzes.
 Attendance - (10%)
Students grading scheme includes attendance. So, to earn the 10% of the grade, show up to class frequently.
 Class Participation/Recitation - (10%)
Ten percent (10%) of the grade will be coming from the participation/recitation in class discussion and activities. Thus, students are encouraged to participate in all activities applied during class
hour.
 Written Task/Assignment – 15%
Written tasks/assignments provide an opportunity to educate students how to arrange ideas, develop points logically, establish explicit connections, elaborate ideas, debate points, and locate an
argument in the context of past research-all skills valued in higher education.
 Reporting – 20 %
It allows the students to do a research and present information’s on a chosen topic assigned by the instructor. As shown, twenty percent (20%) of the student grades will be coming from reporting.
Thus, students are encouraged to do this task seriously.

Course grading system will be based on the requirements prescribed by the subject teacher and the approved grading system of the university.
