They describe words which tell us about the quality of a

noun or a pronoun.

A RED APPLE.
AN INTERESTING FILM.
THE BLUE ONES ARE CORRECT.

They emphasise our feelings about something. (usually used after a
linking verb).

Example:
The kids are so positive that we would feel complete fools if we miss
such a divine opportunity of seeing this famous place.
