Overview
Planned Freight is a cost agreed with or stipulated by the vendor before the purchase order is placed,
which are entered in the PO on the item conditions tab. Also, the freight cost is informed in the
material NF-e:

 In J1BTAX maintain freight tax rate for ICMS with the material tax rate in table J_1BTXIC1

 Tax Code created with correct conditions to calculate Freight

Requirements:
 Since it is a planned freight and supplier will inform it in the material invoice NF-e, at the
purchase order, under Conditions tab, inform the condition FRB1 and the NET value of the
freight.

Requirements:
 Process Goods Receipt (MIGO GR) normally.
 At the Invoice Receipt (MIRO IR), once the purchase order is informed, change the indicator to
the option 3 (Goods/service items + planned delivery costs). A new line will be created with the
planned cost (freight).
 Inform a tax code to calculate freight.

Requirements:
 At the MIRO document header, inform total amount and NF-e number.
 At the Details tab inform the Nota Fiscal type YA (NF-e).

Overview
Unplanned freight is a cost that was “unknown” at the time of purchase order creation, so It is
necessary to add this cost later on the process. In this case when a freight CT-e needs to be processed
additionally to the material invoice NF-e, the unplanned freight process needs to be used.

Requirements:
 NF-e type proper for CT-e model form 57 in SAP, like “C7”.

 In J1BTAX maintain freight tax rate for ICMS with the material tax rate in table J_1BTXIC1

Requirements:
 You must check the GR-Bsd IV flag under invoice tab.
 As this is an unplanned cost, we will not add the condition FRB1 on the condition tab.
 As this is an unplanned freight is assumed that two Notas Fiscais exists: one for the material and
one for the freight.
 First, you post your invoice normally for your material.
 Your PO should have your goods receipt and invoice receipt of the purchased goods before you
can process freight payment.

Requirements:
 Select app Create Supplier Invoice Advanced
 Select the option of subsequent debit as shown below.
 In the reference field, you will enter the freight NF number.
 In the field amount you will enter the freight total cost with taxes.

Requirements:
 On the tab Details you can then enter the NF number of your material on the ‘header text field’.
 You can change the vendor to the Freight supplier in the Inv. Party field.
 Enter the NF type (C7) specific for freight.
 Go into Nota Fiscal.

Requirements:
 In Nota Fiscal the ICMS will be calculated according to the tax rule created in J1BTAX.

 Return to the Invoice screen and Post document.

Overview
Sometimes the freight supplier carries using one single CT-e multiple purchase orders with multiple
NF-es (Notas Fiscais).

Requirements:
 Always at the moment of the goods receipt, inform at the Delivery Note field the number of the
NF-e

Requirements:
 When processing CT-e Subsequent Debt, select the option 2 Delivery Note and click on the more
allocation criteria.

(CTe)
Overview
The CT-e a Brazilian tax document issued by the cargo carriers to cover goods between the city of
origin and cargo recipient. This scenario would be mostly used by sales process.

Standard Process Flow & Requirements:

 In the CT-e scenario, you can only have one CT-e per PO.
 Very important is to have the condition CONH in your condition tab. This will determine this is a
CT-e scenario.
 Also, in the tax code chosen, make sure it has the CT-e conditions CIC* checked.
 You can use both quantity or net price to be pushed into the invoice with correct price.
 Since this is a service material, you must perform Goods Receipt and not service entry sheet, for
this reason make sure GR-Bsd IV is checked.

 Perform Goods Receipt normally as if it was a material. If PO is going to be used to more than
one CT-e, change the quantity or price at this moment.

 At the invoice Receipt, inform CT-e number, purchase order number, NF Type specific for CT-e
(C7).
 You might also inform the NF-e number if you have it to save with CT-e for future report or
information use or use Text field.
