ICE BREAKERS

Lie Detector
preparation:
Think of two true things about yourself and one lie. 

example:
1. I got a scuba diving license when I was 15.
2. I have been to Tanzania.
3. My parents own a pizza restaurant.

instructions:
Ask up to 3 questions to find out which is the lie. 

example:
Where did you get certified?
Where did you last go diving?
What is the capital of Tanzania? etc.
20 Questions
preparation:
Think of something in a category.

example:
I’m thinking of a food.

instructions:
The other participants can then ask twenty Y/N questions to try to find out what food you
are thinking of.

example:
Is it a Korean dish?
Is it a soup?
Is it spicy? etc.
Deserted Island
instructions:
Form groups or pairs.

Imagine that you are trapped on an island for one year and cannot leave.
You can only take 5 things with you.

On the island:  freshwater, monkeys, coconut trees and fish in the surrounding waters.

Tell the class the 5 things you decided to bring and what the importance of each item is
Multipurpose
preparation:
Think of a couple of objects.

example:
picture frame

instructions:
Each participant must then think of as many uses as they can for the object.

example:
Use it like a horseshoe and try to throw it on a peg as a game
Use it as a necklace
