1. ARCHITECTURAL OVERVIEW

3
GENERAL

• The World Health Organization

(WHO) has warned that the number
of people infected with the SARS-
COVID-19 epidemic is on the rise.
This has caused international
investors and the government to be
concerned about the need to build
high-quality health facilities to
serve the residents.

The reason why student choose the HOAN MY General Hospital

to design for Graduation Thesis.
4
LOCATION

• 291 Nguyen Van Linh, Thanh Khue

District, Da Nang City.
• Convenient position for accessing
and leaving the hospital, adjacent to
the major road.

2. STRUCTURAL DESIGN

9
THESIS OBJECTIVES

• Design of typical slab of the first floor

• Design of typical frame (beams, columns,
shear walls) of grid 3
• Design of Foundation

10
STRUCTURAL SOLUTION

• In general, the slab appropriate to any

given set of conditions should be
adequate in terms of performance and
economy.
• Each slab has its own perks, but student
would lean towards the benefits that
conventional slab brings to a project.
Conventional slab is simple to construct
and minimize the floor height due to
beam's height and keep it safety for the
usage. Two – way slab

11
STRUCTURAL SOLUTION

• In general, based on criteria above “Shear walls – Frame and Beams – Slabs system” will
be selected for analysis and design of HOAN MY Hospital.

12
SLAB DESIGN Design Standard: BS EN 1992-1-1: 2004
• Identify the preliminary for each of the four structural components: the slabs, beams,
columns and shear walls. Identify the internal force by many structural design software
(ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.) to compute the reinforcement and combo SLS is used
for cracking and deflection controls.
