greek city and in the capital of
plirygia.

the beginning, middle and Ending
of the story?
Answer
◦ The First part of the story is when the king met a hungry and
sick satyr, he took care of it until the satyr became well,
that’s the time when the king and the satyr have a
conversation and the satyr told the king that he is a pet of a
God named Dionysus,
◦ The middle part of the story is when, In exchange of the
kindness of the king the God Dionysus offered that what ever
the king would wish he will make it happen. So that the time
that the king wished that all the things that he touched would
turn into gold,
◦ The last part is when the king realizes that his wish was not
actually a blessing but a curse.
4. What do you think is the theme
of the story?
Answer:
Greediness

Why do you say so?

Answer:
Because the king became greedy and did not
enjoy what he has in life.

a ¼ sheet of paper and write down the characters, setting,
plot and them of the story entitled the King Midas and the
golden touch.
Individual Activity (20 points)
10 minutes

◦ Directions: Identify the characters, setting, plot and


theme of the short story entitled the tortoise and the
hare.
Home Work

Direction: Make your own short story,


and make sure that your short Story has a
characters, settings, plot and theme.
White it in a short bond paper.
