or women, wealthy or poor, all use it.

Skin is the body’s largest organ and is often the

first to touch and absorb toxins, chemicals, and
other substances in commercial products.

 What is an Organic Soap
Organic soap is also called as Natural or Hand-
made soap. As its name suggest it is made by
using natural ingredients.
Natural soap is made out of fats or
oils, water, lye, and often essential
oils and natural dyes.
 Difference between Commercial Soap & Organic Soap
The commercial soaps you get are just chemical cocktails
made of detergents and synthetics. Some of the ingredients
like parabens in these soaps are often linked to cancer.
Often the ingredients used to add fragrance to these
commercial soaps also have the tendency to irritate your
skin.
Whereas, The natural ingredients incorporated in your hand
made soaps add a healing touch to your daily skin routine.
Homemade soaps ingredients are grown from the earth
itself and are rich in anti-oxidants, vitamins, and nutrients
that are healthy for your skin.
 Parabens:
Parabens are a specific type of preservative used in a wide range of
cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. More specifically they
prevent growth of mold and bacteria. Paraben is actually short for
“parahydroxybenzoate.”
Reason to avoid Parabens
The reason we should avoid parabens is because they act like
estrogen in the body. Too much estrogen can lead to breast cancer
and reproductive issues.

True natural soap is made with natural oils, butters and fats. It’s mixed with lye
and water and cured for 4-6 weeks.
Natural soap is made with only essential oils to scent it as fragrance oils can
contain a large amount of chemicals used to enhance their scent and increase
shelf life.
The only way to truly colour a natural soap is by using natural ingredients such as
turmeric, Saffron and other natural ingredients that can be used to colour soap.
Natural soap has many benefits including moisturising the skin, being gentler on
skin, chemical free and generally containing higher quality ingredients than over
the commercial soap.
 Conclusion

Natural soaps contain different properties which are key to a good soap bar. Only
by using certain ingredients can you have a well balanced soap bar which will
have all of the key properties needed in a soap bar.

So in conclusion natural soap is great for skin and contains naturally moisturising
glycerin which will keep your skin moisturised and soft. It’s a lot better for your
skin than over the commercial soaps you can buy in the supermarket and
pharmacy.
