Solenoid valve does not receive 24 volts. Check electrical connections.

Emergency stop activated. De-activate emergency stop.

pressure
increased. Risk of piston seizure. Engine must be stopped immediately
if possible & piston in question pulled.

If not possible, fuel pump of the cylinder concerned should

be turned to STOP.
Smoky exhaust. Charge air pressure too low. Clean turbine, check air supply to engine room.

Air supply too low. Check & clean air cooler, air filter, compressor & turbine.

Fuel valves or nozzles defective. Check fuel valves.

CONCLUSION
 Both main engines are running in good condition & well maintained
 Slightly overdue for next maintenance routine at 6000 running
hours
 Ability to float, move & fight is utmost important to ensure ship is
always ready for any operations at all times
 Thus, it is always important to ensure that regular monitoring &
check routine is conducted thoroughly to detect for any signs of
damage & abnormalities even before the next maintenance routine
is due
 Operations > Routine
