ATTANDANT
Housekeeping
• Housekeeping department takes care of the hygiene and
cleanliness of the hotel.
• The operational areas are the housekeeping store where
we keep all the amenities and equipment which the
guests’ require, the pantry in each block to keep par
stocks for smooth operations.
• The housekeeping department is responsible for the 178
rooms along with the public areas, outlets, department
offices and the garden pest controls.
• Mayfair Lake Resort has 5 categories of room which are
Presidential Suites, Delux Suites, Spa Suites ,Executive
and Club rooms.
• Lake Resort has 14 blocks in which Block 1 to Block 9
consists of Twin and Executive Rooms. Block 10 & 11 are
Regent & Royal Villas. Block 12 is the Spa Block. Block
13 is the Lobby and the Board rooms. Block 14 is the
Convention Block which is near to gate no. 3.
Housekeeping (Con.)
• The workflow firstly contains morning briefing,
linen distribution and allocation is provided to the
housekeepers. After the completion of the
provided tasks there is a training session to
enhance the working skills and ideas of the
housekeepers.
• Pest control is done by a contracted outsource
Ikari Sona.
• Laundry and linen room consists of 3 parts-
storage area,linen & uniform room and laundry
room.
• Laundry room has different equipment like flat
work iron also known as calender machine,3
tumbler driers of 35 kgs, 2 washer extractor of 60
kgs 2 washer extractor of 45 kgs and 1 extractor
of 25 kgs, it also provides facility like dry
cleaning.

Engineering & Maintenance
• This is one of the most important backhouse department of the hotel.
• It takes care of the electricity, water gas & fuel and air conditioning of the
entire hotel.
• It co ordinates with all the departments of the hotel.
• For fire safety it maintains the fire extinguishers, smokes detector, water
sprinklers and the fire alarms in the public and service areas. Our kitchen
is equipped with many modern fire safety devices.
• It has fire hydrant plant to supply water to fire hose reel.
• It works with the solar energy for heating up the water in the guest
washrooms.
• Maintains water treatment (Ion Exchange) plant in the hotel which consists
of softener, activated carbon filter, multi grade filter with a capacity of 500
liters per hour.
Engineering & Maintenance (con.)
• Sewage Treatment plant is used to recycle water and use it for
gardening.

• Other plants like chiller plant for cooling system and equipment
like transformer,VCB,feeder,DG is maintained for supply of
electricity.

• The swimming pools are maintained by maintenance department. It


uses chlorine and Alum for cleaning the pools.

• After every check out the rooms are checked by the maintenance
department.

• Gardening comes under maintenance department it takes care of all


the plants which are in the hotel premises. Our hotel consist of Rain
tree, Conocarpus, Arica, Golmo, Indian Archary and many others.
Banquet Reservation
• Banquet reservation is the biggest revenue generating
department of F&B service.
• 14 areas and outlets accumulated together makes up our
banquets which consists of Mayfair house 1,2,3, banquet studio,
meeting room, board room 1,2,3, Chitrakut hall, jungle bar,
ballroom, outdoor we have Vatika lawn, Mini Vatika/ac dome,
Aangan, pool area, shacks, lawns.
• We provide buffets and silver service as per guest
requirements.
• We provide Vatika, ballroom for bigger parties or events. We
provide the board rooms and Mayfair houses for smaller
conferences and meetings.
• We outsource casuals from local vendor.
• The bookings are taken according to the sessions which are
from 1200 hrs. to 1700 hrs. and the second session starts from
1800 hrs. to 2300 hrs.
• We are also linked with an outsource decorator named as
Dream Decors who are responsible for each and every
decoration for the parties and functions.
Mayfair SPA
• SPA is one of the calmest and most relaxing area of the hotel.
• Our SPA is located in the a different block all together which is the
12th block.
• SPA has 4 SPA rooms 2 couple rooms and 2 single rooms. It also
has 1 Saloon and 1 Bride room.
• Ambiance + Fragrance + Music + Therapist + SPA cuisine make up
the SPA.
• Mayfair SPAs are located in almost every Mayfair properties and
the most famous SPA is in, Mayfair SPA Resort Gangtok.
• SPA opens from 900 hrs. – 2100 hrs.
• Our SPA provides packages for the guests staring from around
Rs.5999 + taxes.
• We offer an array of massages also with facials, haircuts and many
more.
