More Electricals, Surveillance And Electronics was founded in 2017,it was
incorporated in 2019.
More Electricals specializes on CCTV Installations and maintenance, DSTV
Installations and maintenance, Intercom Installations and maintenance,
Solar Power Installations and maintenance, Internet Installations and
maintenance amongst others.

AND 4KVA INVERTER AT EBONYI STATE GOVERNOR’S LODGE
MAITAMA, ABUJA FCT.

At the course of my Industrial Training (I.T) Attachment, one of the

major project executed that encompasses the chain of event on our
day-to-day activities at More Electricals was the installation of both
public and private utilities at the Ebonyi State Governor’s Lodge located
at Maitama, Abuja.
For the sake of this defence, this project will be my major point of
reference.

SOLAR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION UNIT

Installation of 4kva/48v inverter at Ebonyi State Governor’s Lodge.

MATERIALS USED:

Battery Rack Luminous 4kva/48v 10mm DC Cable & Star Plus 12v 2P Change Over
inverter Connector battery
INSTALLATION PROCEEDINGS:

1. Assembling of battery rack.

2. Mounting of batteries on rack (4 batteries were used for this project).
3. Connection of batteries to deliver 48v (batteries were connected in series in order
to keep voltage at variance with the voltage rating of the inverter).
4. Connection of battery’s positive (+) and negative (-) terminals to the inverter.
5. Connection of the AC input terminal of the inverter to the change over upper part.
6. Connection of A.C source from the mains to the change over upper part.
7. Connection of inverter A.C output terminal to the lower part of the change over.
8. Connection of control room load to the change over load terminal.
9. Testing.

INTERNET ACCESS POINT: Is a device that serves as an internet extender, to achieve
wider range of wifi coverage. For this project, a total of fifteen (15) wifi access point
was installed. Internet provision was done by Legend internet.

CONCLUSION

The Industrial Training (I.T) experience has been an awesome one. Thus far, I have been

able to gain in-depth knowledge on Solar Energy installation and maintenance, DSTV

installation and maintenance, Internet/Access Point Installation and maintenance amongst

other knowledge gained.

In the nearest future, considering the market per capital interest on the said fields, I would

be able to create employment for myself as well as the general public.
