INTRODUCTION

Alchemy means an art of converting metals into gold. It is used in literature as mysterious and magical power that can change things. Our society today requires is a change, a change towards a green and sustainable development, a change towards hunger free world, a change towards economic equality, a change towards better tomorrow Alchemy is a NITJs endeavor towards bring a holistic change and an initiative for engineering for change

PROPOSED DATES:

Since we already have Techniti and Utkansh next semester probably in the month of Feb and March respectively, we can organize the Alchemy in the month of April, three weeks before the majors. It will be two day fest (Sat Sun ).

WORKSHOP Workshop can be conducted on any two of the following topics 1) Bio diesel 2) Artificial Neural Networking 3) Computational Modeling and Simulation 4) Petroleum 5)Fuel Cells Besides a workshop can also be organized any one of following for other branches: 1)Ethical Hacking 2)Robotics

INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION Its a way to increase the student industry interaction. Bio diesel, petroleum products, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, etc which are just limited to the pages of the book can be put to displayed by the industries. LECTURE SERIES Three guest lectures can be organsied 1)Two from academia 2)One from Industry

ALUMNI MEET Their can be no time more suitable to organize a alumni meet than a technical fest. Its indeed a time travel to those nostalgic days with in the four walls of the campus.
