 ABOUT ACCE (INDIA)

Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) was formed and
registered in 1985 by a group of Consulting Civil Engineers in
Bangalore. ACCE(I) has its head quarters at Bangalore and has
since grown into a National Association with 32 Centres formed
all over India at Ahmedabad, Akola, Bangalore, Bidar,
Belthangady, Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Chandwad,
Davangere, Delhi, Dharwad, Goa, Hassan, Hubli, Hyderabad,
Indore, Karimnagar, Kakinada, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai,
Mysore, Nagpur, Nashik, Puducherry, Palghar, Raja-
mahendravaram, Sangamner, Tirupati, Vijayawada,
Vishakpatnam.
Broadly, the objects of the Association are:
Ÿ To encourage and foster the ideals of the profession.
Ÿ To hold conferences/meetings/seminars for dissemination of
knowledge amongst the Civil Engineers in particular and
society in general.
Ÿ To promote friendship, establish rules for professional and
ethical conduct and to develop social awareness and responsibility
amongst the members.
Ÿ To bring the latest technological advancements in the world to the
members and prepare them to carry out futuristic design with an
eye on assurance of quality.
Ÿ To facilitate access to technical papers, books and computer
software.
Ÿ To arrange lectures by distinguished Engineers/Professionals from
India and abroad and conduct study tour of projects.
Ÿ To act as spokesman for the Consultant to deal with Government,
Corporations and other agencies regarding policy matters.
Ÿ To identity the areas in which the Consultants can contribute to the
betterment of the country like Rural Housing, Urban Development,
Low Cost Housing, Infrastructure Development, Economic and Safe
Design and Construction Practice, etc.,

ABOUT REDECON
REDECON, a biennial marquee event by ACCE (I) – Bangalore Centre. ACCE (I)-
Bangalore, in its constant endeavor to serve the Civil Engineering Fraternity, has been
organizing National and International Seminars / Conferences once in two years on the
themes relevant to the current trending technologies in the domains of Civil
Engineering while providing a great networking platform.
REDECON is now an event that is eagerly looked forward by all the Construction
Industry stakeholders. Nine such successful events have been held starting from 2005
and continued in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.
REDECON 2022 this time in November, is a two day National Seminar with an excellent
lineup of featured Speakers in the ecosystem. The Seminar will also have an Exhibition
relevant to construction industry.

ABOUT THE SEMINAR

Large infrastructure projects exert significant impact on the society as a whole and contribute in shaping the social, the economic and the
