What is special about the polar bear?
Polar bears have white fur so they can blend into their surroundings The
polar bear or white bear is a species of carnivorous mammal in the bear
family. Along with its relative, the Kodiak bear, it is one of the largest
terrestrial carnivores on Earth. It lives in the polar and icy areas from the
northern hemisphere. It is the only apex predator in the Arctic.
