The movement began in July 2013, with the use of the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter on social media after the George
Zimmerman in the shooting death of African-American teen Trayvon Martin. It became nationally recognized for street
demonstrations following the 2014 deaths of two more African Americans, Michael Brown and Eric Garner by police.
1."BLACK LIVES MATTER" EFFORTS LED TO REFORMS OF THE POLICE SYSTEM,
CHANGES IN STATE AND NATIONAL LEGISLATION.
2.INCREASED RACIAL INJUSTICE RESEARCH ON ISSUES OF POLICE VIOLENCE.
THEIR GREATEST ROLE CHANGED THE ATTITUDE OF THE SOCIETY AND INCLUDED
MANY PEOPLE,INCREASED THE RIGHTS AFRICAN AMERICAN
THE ORGANIZATION HAS SUPPORTERS FROM
DIFFERENT COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD. THEY
PROTEST INJUSTICES, VIOLENCE FROM THE
POLICE.
SUPPORT TO THIS ORGANIZATION, AFRICAN AMERICANS
WERE GIVEN THE RIGHT TO GO TO SCHOOL WITH
BLACKS. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS
CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT WAS PASSED.
ULTIMATELY, THEIR ROLE CHANGED THE
LIVES OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF
PEOPLE
THE MAIN THING WE SAW IS THAT
STRUGGLE ALWAYS HAS CONSEQUENCES
