The significance of Health?

Health is a state of being well so that one can perform physical, social
and mental functions properly.

For Example, we say a person is healthy if they can perform their day to
day tasks very well.

In short, Health is a state of being Physically, Mentally and Socially well.


Is health dependent on personal as well as social issues?

Yes, we cannot achieve health solely on our own. Every organism


in this world depends upon another or the environment for
better health.

• Garbage disposal
• Sanitation and Hygiene
• Stagnant water
• Open Drainage
• Public cleanliness
In general, The basic conditions necessary for good
health are:
•Proper balanced and nutritious diet.
•Personal hygiene.
•Clean environment and surroundings.
•Healthy air, no pollution in the surrounding.
•Regular exercise.
•Proper rest.
•Good standard of living and economic status.
