motion.

USES OF PARTS
OF ENGINE
CYLINDER BLOCK
The cylinder block is the most important
component and is the basis of a car engine.
The main function is to accommodate the
crankshaft mechanism. Inside the cylinder
block, you can find several engine cylinders,
each of which is connected to the piston and
crankshaft at the other end of the road.

ENGINE BLOCK
To support the components of the engine.
Additionally, the engine block transfers
heat from friction to the atmosphere and
engine coolant. The material selected for
the engine block is either gray cast iron or
aluminum alloy.

PISTON
The piston is a moving part of the
combustion chamber. It is responsible for
converting the energy released during the
combustion process into mechanical work.
The piston also performs a number of other
important tasks: It seals the combustion
chamber.
PISTON
ENGINE VALVES
The engine valve's primary function is to
allow air into and out of the cylinder. Air is
used to assist in the ignition of the fuel,
which pushes the pistons up and down.
Engine valves are classified into two types:
intake valves and exhaust valves.
ENGINE VALVES
OIL PAN
The oil pan is attached to the bottom of the engine
with bolts and is the reservoir for oil that gets
pumped throughout the engine to lubricate, clean
and cool moving parts. A pump forces the oil from
the pan through a filter to remove dirt and other
debris before it circulates through the engine.
OIL PAN
COMBUSTION CHAMBER
A combustion chamber is part of an
internal combustion engine in which the
fuel/air mix is burned. For steam
engines, the term has also been used for
an extension of the firebox which is used
to allow a more complete combustion
process.
