Slab Construction Joint
• Concrete pouring have been done in tower 1 – two pours and
tower 3 – three pours.
• The concrete slab construction joints were not treated in both
towers, without water proofing treatment in slab finishing works
were carried out in both towers.
• Concrete slab leakages found in construction joints area (eg
Photos attached).
• Construction joint should be treated by following method,
• Injection grouting method by fixing Nozzles at 300mm interval of Gaps on
crack. seal around the Nozzles with Renderoc plug.
• After drying of plug, Injecting cebex100 grout mixture inside the Nozzle with
Injection grouting pump to spread mixture inside crack.
• Nozzles are cut and sealed thoroughly to make one coat of acrylic reinforced
waterproofing coating on treated area and finish.
