Chincha Alta was founded
under the name of “Santo
Domingo de la Corona
Real de Chincha” on
December 15, 1571.

dishes of Chincha Alta?
The typical dishes are: La
carapulcra with soap, rice
with duck, Chicharrones.

Are there companies in Chincha Alta? If so,
what do they produce?
They do exist, for example La Calera that
produces eggs, harvests tangerines, avocados
and blueberries. Prolan exports first and second
quality oranges, tangerines, avocados,
blueberries, as well as packaging strawberry
and tangerine jam. Also El Tabernero who
produces quality wines and are National and
International Exporters. We have Topitop,
which produces polo shirts, pants, jackets, etc.
