What is Digital Publishing ?

spread through Electronic Devices.

Project Gutenberg

▰ Digital Publishing was introduced on 4th July 1971, when


Project Gutenberg was started. It was founded by Michael
Hart who makes the first digital copy of the Declaration
of Independence.

 An American inventor Raymond Kurzweil developed a scanner in 1974,


which was equipped with an Omni font software that enable optical
character recognition (OCR) for numeric inputs.

 Optical Character Recognition is the electronic or mechanical

can define each element in the XML as a tag or a set of tags. XML is
