HOW CAN WE INCREASE A PERSON'S REGULAR BRAIN FUNCTION
CAPACITY
Introduction
Dopamine is hormone along with a neurotransmitter which plays an important part in our
brain’s reward system. It regulates our excitatory state by controlling it’s amount in brain.
Dopamine is also associated with pleasurable sensations, along with learning, memory,
motor system function, and more.
Dopamine receptors are mostly found in Central Nervous System. It is a G-coupled
receptors involved in the regulation of Motor Activity.
Genes are specific segments of a single stranded chromosome inside a nucleus containing
multiple base pairs and nucleotides, which are responsible for a protein expression outside
the nucleus.
This presentation is about how we can regulate the functions of dopamine receptors by
manipulating the gene responsible for its particular activity.
Aim:
To change the translating sequence of the genes responsible for the activity of
dopamine receptors in few specific regions of brain in order to control the amount of
dopamine in our brain.

We have to control the D-2 like receptors in specific regions of brain by which we
can get what we want .i.e the ability to concentrate more, and solve problems and
give attention and percieve things faster.
Genes which are to be considered as
important in the case
D-2 GENE D-3 GENE
 D-2 gene is present in chromosome  D-3 gene in present in chromosome
number 11 starting from 113,409,605 no number 3 in humans starting from
to 113,471,695 bp. 114,127,580 bp to 114,199,407 bp.

Manipulating the translating sequences in these genes of Prefrontal, Limbic regions, Ventral
Tagmented Area (VTA) and Nucleus Accumbance of brain, can result in the regulation of
reabsorption or reuptake of dopamine in that particular region.

Our work here is to make sure that the areas under
Prefrontal and limbic regions does reuptake the
excess amount of Dopamine such that it maintains a
normal balance in the synaptic cleft. Dopamine
We have to keep the D-2 & D-3 receptors active.

and Nucleus Accumbance
Here we have to reduce the reabsorption of
Dopamine by making the presynaptic receptors
active.
Conclusion

Making a change in the translating sequence of a mRNA is difficult but under proper
amount of effort, guidance and facilities it is possible to increase our brain capacity.
Taking all the previous content in consideration and by starting the transcription from
an alternative set of codon, we can get what we are aiming of.
