OBJECTIVES

1. TO BE ABLE TO OBSERVE THE REACTION OF


THE BLOOD IN DIFFERENT SUBSTANCES.
2. TO DIFFERENTIATE THE EFFECT OF EACH
SUBSTANCE ADDED IN THE BLOOD SAMPLE
3. TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE ON THE
PRACTICES IN FORENSIC CHEMISTRY
PROCEDURE
A. CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD AND WATER
• PUT 2 TEASPOONS OF CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD IN A PLASTIC CUP. THEN ADD 1
TEASPOON OF WATER TO THE BLOOD. MIX SLOWLY FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE.

B. CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD AND ZONROX BLEACH


• PUT 2 TEASPOONS OF CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD IN A PLASTIC CUP. THEN ADD 1
TEASPOON OF ZONROX BLEACH TO THE BLOOD. (DO NOT TRY TO SMELL THE
SOLUTION.) MIX SLOWLY FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE

C. CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD AND CALAMANSI JUICE


• PUT 2 TEASPOONS OF CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD IN A PLASTIC CUP. THEN ADD 1
TEASPOON OF CALAMANSI JUICE TO THE BLOOD. (DO NOT TRY TO SMELL THE
SOLUTION.) MIX SLOWLY FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE.

D. CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD AND NAIL POLISH REMOVER


• PUT 2 TEASPOONS OF CHICKEN’S BLOOD/PIG’S BLOOD IN A PLASTIC CUP. THEN ADD 1
TEASPOON OF NAIL POLISH REMOVER TO THE BLOOD. (DO NOT TRY TO SMELL THE
SOLUTION.) MIX SLOWLY FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE

A. BEFORE AFTER
• PIG BLOOD REFLECTS A WHITE LIGHT WHERE • PIG'S BLOOD AND WATER WERE COMBINED, AND
WE CAN SEE THE RED COLOR OF PIG BLOOD. THE MIXTURE TURNED A INTO PALE RED,
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PIG'S BLOOD ARE RETAINED A METALLIC ODOR, AND PRODUCED
DENSE AND MORE VISCOUS (THICKER) THAN
WATER AND SOMEWHAT STICKY. BUBBLES.

• PIG BLOOD REFLECTS A WHITE LIGHT WHERE


WE CAN SEE THE RED COLOR OF PIG BLOOD.
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PIG'S BLOOD ARE  PIG’S BLOOD AND BLEACH BECOMES DARK WITH
DENSE AND MORE VISCOUS (THICKER) THAN CHLORINE LIKE ODOR. ALSO PRODUCES
WATER AND SOMEWHAT STICKY. BUBBLES LIKE BEER.

 AFTER MIXING THE PIGS BLOOD AND CALAMNSI
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PIG'S BLOOD ARE
DENSE AND MORE VISCOUS (THICKER) THAN THE COLOR BECOME DARKER AND ALSO CREATE
WATER AND SOMEWHAT STICKY. BUBBLE.

• PIG BLOOD REFLECTS A WHITE LIGHT WHERE


WE CAN SEE THE RED COLOR OF PIG BLOOD.  THE STRONG SMELL OF NAIL POLISH REMOVER
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PIG'S BLOOD ARE WAS MORE DOMINANT THAN THE SMELL OF PIGS
DENSE AND MORE VISCOUS (THICKER) THAN BLOOD, THE MIXTURES ALSO BECAME DILUTED
WATER AND SOMEWHAT STICKY. AND THE COLOR BECAME CHERRY RED.
1. BECAUSE THE SUBSTANCES EMPLOYED IN THE EXPERIMENT ARE DIVERSE
OR VARIED, VARIOUS REACTIONS AND OUTCOMES ARISE, FAR OUTWEIGHING
THE SIMILARITIES. THE DISTINCTIVE MAKEUP OF THESE CHEMICALS IS
CRUCIAL, RESULTING IN A VARIETY OF EFFECTS THAT ADD TO THE
SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES SEEN.

2. THE PRACTICES IN FORENSIC CHEMISTRY THAT APPLY IN THIS


EXPERIMENT ARE THE FOLLOWING:
1. OBTAINING OR RECEIVING A SAMPLE FOR ANALYSIS
2. THE EXAMINATION OF THE SPECIMEN ITSELF
3. EVALUATION OF RESULTS
IN CONCLUSION, MIXING PIG'S BLOOD WITH OTHER SOLVENTS
CAN CHANGE ITS PROPERTIES, SUCH AS VISCOSITY AND COLOR, BUT
IT'S NOT A TYPICAL CULINARY PRACTICE. SAFETY AND HYGIENE
SHOULD ALWAYS BE A TOP PRIORITY WHEN HANDLING BLOOD OR
BLOOD-BASED PRODUCTS, AS CERTAIN SOLVENTS CAN POSE HEALTH
RISKS WHEN MIXED WITH BLOOD.
