Subject Title: General Mathematics
Subject Description:
The "General Mathematics" course for Senior High School
students is designed to provide a solid foundation in
mathematical concepts and skills that are essential for
daily life, further studies, and future careers. This course
aims to develop students' mathematical thinking,
problem-solving abilities, and quantitative literacy,
enabling them to confidently apply mathematical
principles in a wide range of practical contexts.
Throughout the course, students will
engage with the following key areas:
1.Numerical Operations and Basic
Algebra
2.Financial Mathematics
3.Functions and Graphs
4.Applied Mathematics
5.Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
Assessment methods will include individual and group
assignments, problem-solving tasks, quizzes, tests, and
practical projects.
By the end of the course, students will have gained a
solid understanding of mathematical principles and
their applications, equipping them with valuable skills
for academic success and everyday problem-solving.
This course aims to foster an appreciation for the role
of mathematics in various aspects of life and inspire
further exploration in the field.
