Dry needling and fascial manipulation along with knee range of motion exercises showed a positive effect on reducing central sensitization and improving outcomes in patients with chronic knee osteoarthritis. Over the course of four weekly treatment sessions, patients experienced significant reductions in central sensitization inventory, WOMAC pain and stiffness scores, pain self-efficacy questionnaire, Tampa scale for kinesiophobia, pressure pain thresholds, and increased knee flexion. These findings suggest that dry needling, fascial manipulation, and exercises can effectively treat central sensitization in knee osteoarthritis patients.

MANIPULATION ON CHRONIC KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS PATIENTS WITH CENTRAL SENSITIZATION: A CASE SERIES
Introduction Knee OA is a widespread chronic
degenerative joint disease that affects the public
health . Central Sensitization is seen in chronic Knee OA patients. Facial manipulation and dry needling prevent the development of ATrps and reduces Image showing the method of FASCIAL Image showing the method of application MANIPULATION of DRY NEEDLING peripheral and central sensitization.
