The Livestock Fair is an event that takes place annually in the month of June in
the city of Montería, Córdoba, Colombia. It has been carried out since 1960 in
order to commemorate the creation of the department of Córdoba on June 18,
1952.

The Folklore Parade and the parade of comparsas will be a highlight
where culture and tradition will merge in a riot of music, dance and joy
that will celebrate the identity and folklore of the region.
The best cattle in the region are exhibited, cattle with the best breeds
and weights are brought, as well as different equine species.
These beautiful women will seek to gain the sympathy of the Monterian people
and demonstrate why they deserve to be chosen as National Queen and
International Queen of Livestock, from their arrival to the election and
coronation evening.
