 It refers to the degree of accomplishment of the tasks that
make up an individual’s job and indicates how well a
personnel is fulfilling the job requirements.
 Also known as Annual review, Employee Appraisal,
Performance Review or Evaluation.

What is Performance Appraisal?
 It is the systematic, periodic, and impartial rating of an
employee’s excellence in matters pertaining to his present
job and his potential for a better job

individual, supervisor, and peers.
 Negotiated Appraisal: Utilizes a mediator and attempts to moderate
the adversarial nature of performance evaluations by allowing the
subject to present first.
