• It is a about how relevant your answer related

to the thing that is being questioned
• To make it Simply, that means how close the
relation and how big is it connected to the
question of the speaker is measured on the
goals or purpose of the speaker to ask the
question
 Example
There are two student after a class, Anton and
Bayu, their class will make a valentines day
party at a villa on the next day.

• Anton: What will you buy for the gift of

valentines party tomorrow ?
• Bayu: I will buy a love story novel

• Is identifyied on how neccesary the
information or things that you give in
responding a question
• If it is out of the context the speaker asking to
you, it is not belong to
• In this case, your answer must only contain
what the question ask for
• You must to avoid ambiguity

Jojo and Silva are discussing about their
christmas holiday

Jojo: where did you go during the christmas

holiday ?
Silva: I went to my Grandma’s house in Tuka
Village
