Rizal and the Ilustrados

of Spain
Jose Rizal, Mariano Ponce and Graciano Lopez-Jaena worked hard to correct
the racist images drawn by Spaniards writer about the Filipinos.

Rizal wrote a letter Mariano Ponce the editorial staff of la solaridad April 18,

Filipino ilustrados to have it abolished.
