ISO 37001:2016 At A Glance

It stands for International Standard for Anti Bribery Management System
and was developed in 2012 by British Standard Institution (BSI) and
finally published in 2016
ISO 37001 can be used by any organization, large or small, whether it be
in the public, private or voluntary sector, and in any country. (Source:

It uses measures and controls to prevent or lessen corruption within an
organization.
It was designed likewise that it can be integrated with existing
management system.
ISO 37001:2016 Addressing Whom & What??!!
 ISO 37001:2016 addresses- Bribery by the
organization, or by its personnel or business
associates acting on the organization’s
behalf or for its benefit.
Bribery of the organization, or of its
personnel or business associates in relation to
the organization’s activities.

 Bribery though depends on organization or

state laws; this ISO 37001 provides
guidelines for diminishing the bribery in the
system.
