• Edward found The friendship and love in
photography it set the course for his life. He began
photographing in his spare time while working
• He got into photography at the age of 16.
• One of the most influential American photographers
of the 20th century, Edward Weston has had a
significant impact on the history of photography
• Most of Edward’s art is capturing the beauty of
everyday objects in black and white. Which is so
interesting.
• He is known for his amazing white and black images
Cabbage leaf

• Edward had a unique way of


seeing beauty in different objects.
By photographing a cabbage leaf
up close Weston was able to
capture its details in a way that
showed its natural beauty by the
patterns, texture and shape. and
made viewers see it in a new
perspective. This photograph
showcases Weston’s artistic vision.
Pepper
• In 1930 he took a photograph up a
simple bell pepper which became one
of his most iconic work the image
showcase the Peppers elegant curves
textured texture and shadows
transforming it into a work of art
Weston's intention was to elevate the
ordinary and find beauty in everyday
object.
The Onion
• This one is my personal
favourite because when
you first look at the image
you wouldn't directly see it
as an onion it has layers
textures and shapes inviting
viewers to appreciate its
natural beauty.

Why did I choose Edward Weston?
• I chose Edward Weston because his photographs have a way of
capturing the essence and beauty of everyday object in such a unique
and c captivating manner. I admire how he could take something as
simple as a bell pepper and turn it into a work of art that makes you
stop and appreciate its beauty Westons intention to detail
composition and use of light are truly remarkable his photographs
have a timeless quality that continues to inspire people today his
ability to find beauty in ordinary is something that I find truly inspiring
it remind me to look for the extraordinary in the simplest of things.
