RULE 1030

TRAINING OF PERSONNEL
IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY
AND HEALTH
Rule 1030 is all about making sure
workplaces are safe and healthy. It
explains what the Bureau does, how
organizations get accredited, what
training involves, and how they check
if everything is working well.
1031: Training Programs:
The Bureau has a job to keep training
programs going. These programs help people
in charge of safety and health in workplaces
get better at their jobs. They talk to smart
organizations to make sure the training
includes the latest and best ways to keep
workplaces safe.
1032: Accreditation:
The Secretary can say an organization is
good enough to train people in safety and
health. But, these organizations must
follow specific rules set by the Bureau. If
they want to do things differently, they
need to ask first.
1032.02: Audit Systems:
The Bureau regularly checks if
organizations are following the rules
for training. If they aren't doing it
right, the Bureau might stop them from
training people.
1033: Training and
Personnel Complement:
People in charge of safety in a workplace
need to take a special training course. The
number of these safety people depends on
how big and risky the workplace is.
1034.01: Qualifications of a
Safety Consultant:
There are special rules for people who give
advice on safety. They need experience and
training. If they have enough experience,
they might not need extra training, but they
still need approval from the Bureau.
1034.02: Prohibition in the
Practice:
No one can say they're good at safety and
health without following the rules in Rule
1030.
Rule 1030 sets up clear rules to
make sure people are trained
well in safety and health.
Following these rules keeps
workplaces safe and takes care of
the people working there. It's
important for everyone to follow
these rules to keep a culture of
safety in all kinds of jobs.
