INTRODUCTION
From this video I understood hi journey from a store manger in Kokan chemical to director of
Supply chain management at CHEP. He has narrated about his 23-year professional experience.
CHEP has been developed in India in year 2008. CHEP is supply chain management company
functioning in worldwide 45 countries. and Mr. Rajdeep joined there as a project manager.
Prior that he moved to Gulf after returning from gulf he joined Radhkrishna Foodland he spent 10
years there in this job he got the knowledge to handle hardcore supply chain.
Then he joined Metro Cash and Carry Bangalore based MNC where he got experience with working
with MNC and typical Indian companies. He got lot of global exposure there this experience he
utilized to build the business for CHEP.
JOURNEY IN CHEP
Mr. Rajdeep Spoke about his Six years journey at CHEP.
He has first appointed as Project Manger and after
some year the logistic department came out. Then he
grabs an opportunity of taking chair of director and he
played important role to managing logistic in company.
ABOUT CHEP BUSINESS
Further about speaking about 6-year business of CHEP in India he
told they achieved 350+ costumers, 35 Warehouses, 5 regional
offices with 100+ employees. They won 14+ award in different
sectors like Supply chain, Innovation, and manufacturing etc. CHEP
is an asset-based company they need lot of money so they should
be position for returns
WHAT MAKE’S CHEP DIFFERENT FROM OTHER

• In Operations they first give their priority for safety and


precautions for their employees.
• Creating values for customer by following all the government
regulations such as environment law, safety law etc.
• They follow legal things in their productions. They don’t harm
forest lives they are not doing illegal actions in their
production process.
• They target to fulfill every customer needs and expectations
by services they are offering.
KEY LEARNING FROM VIDEO
In his business success will be defined by the ability of the
supply chain respond effectively and quickly to customer. Being
proactive rather than reactive is the need of the hour.
