Region 3 – Central Luzon
The Region III or also known as the Central Luzon is an
administrative region in the Philippines. The Region III is primarily
serving to organize the 7 provinces of the vast central plains of the
island of Luzon. These provinces are Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva
Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales. The Region III also consists
of 115 municipalities.
There are a total of 14 cities in Central Luzon - Balanga in
Bataan; Malolos, Meycauayan, and San Jose del Monte in Bulacan;
Cabanatuan, Gapan, Muñoz, Palayan, and San Jose in Nueva Ecija;
Angeles, Mabalacat, and San Fernando in Pampanga; Tarlac in Tarlac;
and Olongapo in Zambales.
FAMOUS TOURIST SPOTS AND ATTRACTIONS
AURORA – Dubbed as the "birthplace of surfing in
the Philippines", Baler can be considered as a
traveler's paradise in the Province of Aurora. It is a
second class municipality that offers thrilling
adventures coupled with scenic and amazing beauty
of nature.

BATAAN – known for its historical places thanks to


its great role in world history. Among the most
famous ones are the Death March, Siege of Bataan,
and the Fall of Bataan.
BULACAN – Perhaps the most famous Bulacan
park, Biak-na-Bato National Park is a protected area
located in San Miguel. The 2,117-hectare park is
known for its historical significance, as it served as
the mountain hideout of Filipino revolutionaries as
they fought the Spanish forces.

NUEVA ECIJA – Gabaldon Falls is one of the


most popular Nueva Ecija tourist spots. It features
cold crystal clear waters in a beautifully-carved
pool. If you're seeking some respite from a busy
