INTRODUCTION:
Teaching and learning processes are the most
important and powerful instruments of educational
development, success and progress of an individual if it
is well planned and directed. Therefore, best methods
have to be used in order to enhance effective teaching
and learning. Hence, the need to employ the use of
teaching aids otherwise referred to as instructional
medium or media to enhance effective teaching and
learning.
OBJECTIVE
This study to assess the multimedia utilization in
teaching and learning process in Araling
Panlipunan
1. How is the level of utilization of Multimedia by the teachers teaching Araling Panlipunan in Pecson Memorial School as to the

following aspects:

1.1 Textbooks;

1.2 Chalkboard/Whiteboard;

1.3 Visual Aids;

1.4 Overhead Projectors and Computers/Laptop;

1.5 Video Systems (television, digital video cameras, and DVD's);

1.6 Gadgets (Cellular Phones and Tablets)?


2. How do teachers and students effect the utilization of Multimedia to the

teaching processes as to:

2.1 gaining attention;

2.2 informing the learner of the objective;

2.3 providing Feedback;

2.4 assessing Performance; and

2.5 enhancing Retention and Transfer?


3. Is there significant difference on the perception of teachers and

students on the level of utilization of Multimedia to the teaching

processes?

4 . Is there significant difference on the effect of utilization of Multimedia to the

teaching processes?
