Day 1: Pyramid

Requirements:
Newspapers/Chart
paper

Time Limit:
30 mins

Ask the whole batch to stand on the chart
paper.
No one should stand outside the chart paper
Keep eye on each participant, there should
not be any deviant behavior
If any body is uncomfortable playing the
game – please don’t force or insist that
person
Watch them when they make the pyramid,
keep telling them that their foot is out or
some part of body is hanging out.
They have to be on the chart paper for at
least 30 secs with all team members over it
Building Castle in the Air

Requirements:
Newspapers
Cello Tape
Pair of Scissors
Time Limit:
45 mins

Ask the team to set a target of how tall they
would be able to build their castle.
No limitations on creativity
The tallest castle which can stand without
support wins.
Creativity

Requirements:
Tube Pasta
Thread
Pair of Scissors
Needle

Time Limit:
15 mins

The team has to prepare ornaments from pasta in the limited time.
For e.g. necklace, earrings, bracelet, etc
No limitations on creativity.
Team cannot communicate with each other
Members have to use only one hand
One who communicates their ornaments will be disqualified
Team that makes maximum ornaments with creativity will win
END OF DAY 1
Day 2: Shoe Game
Divide the cheerleaders into 3 groups.
Choose one member from each group to
blindfold
Have everyone take off their shoes and put
them in different places of the room.
The person who is blindfold have to find the
shoes of his team member and place them in
front of them
Other members of the group have to sit on
their seats

They can help the blindfolded member to search the shoe by giving
him instructions
See which group can find their shoes and put them on first.
When the team members are giving instructions to the blindfolded
person the other team can give negative or wrong instructions to
that person

Grab the Bottle

Requirements:
Plastic Bottle

Divide the cheerleaders into 3 groups with different team members.
Make two team stand in a line
Two lines will be formed and both the team should face each other
Also members standing in each line should hold hand and close their eyes
Person standing next to trainer from each team has to keep their eyes
open.
At one end of the line, trainer should stand and on other side of he line
make one person to stand with a plastic bottle.
Trainer and the person with the bottle should face each other
Trainer should toss the coin :- Heads – grab the bottle
Tails – wait for heads to come
If toss comes than the member standing at the end of the line near the
trainer should pass the signal to the person standing next to him by
pressing his hand and so on till the signal reaches to the last person in the
line.
As soon as the last person gets the signal that person has to grab the
bottle from the person who is holding it
Throwing Balls

Requirements:
Plastic Balls

Ask the whole batch to stand in a circle
Ball will be passed on to one person
The person who has the ball will throw it to the opposite person
The opposite person will throw it to the person opposite to him and
so on, till the ball is passed on to all the people in the group
Once the sequence is decided then the inflow of balls will go on
increasing
Motive of the game will be to keep all the balls in the air for
minimum 30 secs
Incase a person missed the ball then he will only has to go an pick
up the ball, till than the person who is suppose to throw the ball to
him has to wait for him to catch the ball
Team - Definition
A group of people, contributing their individual
knowledge and skills but working together to achieve a
common goal/task.

High level of interdependence among members
Leader has good people skills and is committed to
team approach
Each member is willing to contribute
A relaxed climate for communication
Members develop a mutual trust
The group and individuals are prepared to take risks
Group is clear about goals and establishes targets

personal attacks

Each member knows he can influence the agenda

Conclusion
Teamwork as a concept has grown over the last 20 years.
However, teamwork success is not automatic. Teams have to be
established for the right reasons. Team member selection is very
important, as is ensuring that the team purpose is clear and agreed
upon.
