Task
Intro: I will review to all
the students the proper
grip of holding a field
hockey stick, how to
dribble the field hockey
ball in self and general
space, having your
knees bent, stick out in
front and head up. Today
we will be focusing on
passing and will be
doing partner passing as
well as passingdribbling skills together.
There will be a
whiteboard that I will be
writing on as I review
and demonstrate each
skill.

Organization
Students will be sitting
in front of me as I
review all the proper
cues that will be used in
todays lesson. The
whiteboard will be
during my review.

will walk or jog, all
based on them, and will
have to avoid all
students while keeping
the tennis ball within
there control at all times.
When I yell freeze, all
students have to stop
with the ball and keep it
within there self-space.
Cones will be set up in
the boundaries for
students to avoid as an

into 4 teams of 3. Two
separate games will be
going on at one and then
when I blow the whistle;
teams will swap so they
play against different
opponents. 1 point will
be awarded for every
time a player on your
team passes the ball into
the goal. This game will
bring in all the concepts
from dribbling and
stopping to passing and
receiving that we have
went over for a few
weeks.

to a close, I will bring
the students together to

to see if the students
learned throughout this
lesson today. Advanced

fill it out before we
discuss the answers
together. All of the
information that will be
filled out has been gone
over previous to class as
well as the beginning of
this lesson. Organizer
