THE NATIONAL DAY
• The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates
its National day on the 23rd of September
to commemorate the unification of the
Kingdom by King AbelAziz Ibn
AbdulRahman Al Sa’ud who announced
the establishment the of Kingdom in 1932.

• The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is
located in south west Asia.
• The west: the Red sea
• The East: the Arabian Gulf,
UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.
• The south: Oman and Yemen.
• The North: Kuwait, Iraq and
Jordan.

• It’s the Muslims’ holy city.

Haram (Sacred Mosque) which
surrounds Ka’ba to where all

• KSA is the largest country in the Arabian peninsula (80% of the area).
• The Tihama Plains spread from the west coast along the Red Sea to
the borders with Kuwait and Oman.

• Al Rub’ Al Khali: is the second largest desert in the


world (more then 600 thousand square Kilometers)
• Ad-dahna Desert: is a sandy desert in the middle of
the Arabian peninsula. It stretches from Nufud in
the north to Rub’ Al Kali.
• Nufud Desert: it is a desert in the northern parts of
the Kingdom.

Resources: • There are many important natural resources in
KSA, but the most important one is Oil, which
forms the core of the economy.
• KSA is considered the most important and the
largest oil producing country in the world.
• KSA is has the largest in the world for its oil
reserves.
• It has large quantities of Natural gas, phosphate,
gold, silver, copper and lead.

• Despite the climate conditions and lack of water resources,


agriculture has developed in KSA.
• The cultivation of wheat, barley, corn and vegetables has
developed. In addition to Palm trees (KSA is a leading
country in producing dates around the world).

to celebrate local food, clothing
and folk dancing.

the most famous ones.
