Project
Brief: Sundarbans, the largest single block of tidal
halophytic mangrove forest in the world, located in the
southwestern part of Bangladesh. With its array of trees and
wildlife, the forest is a showpiece of natural history.

Sundarban has many things to attract tourist. It is also center

of economic activities such as extraction of timber, fishing and
collection of honey.

But now-a-days the wildlife of the forest become harmful because

of unplanned extraction of wild resources and trees/ considering
the above circumstance Forest Department of Bangladesh has
undertaken the project.

Objectives:
• Research wildlife of the Sundarban.
• Conservation of wildlife system.
• Conservation of climate, environment, biodiversity site
of Sundarban.
• Create eco-tourism.
• Earn foreign currency.
• Blend wildlife and tourism.

This project is basically a research based project. The project is proposed

for conservations the wildlife and in reach ecotourism system.
