PROJECT OBJECTIVES

To identify the experiences and challenges faced by women in Local

Council working within selected constituencies and councils;

To propose recommendations by advocating to relevant ministries,

departments, legislators and political parties at a national and
district level;

To raise public awareness, by engaging with the media and

producing media interventions on the importance of safeguarding
and strengthening the mandatory 25% quota for women in Local
Government.
