    Practical: Instruction for

    Levelling Work

    There will be 2 types of work,


    do task no.1 first and then
    continue with no.2
    TASK 1
    1.Do the levelling work from BM to any site around UTHM:
    -Any site here means for example your construction site

    Other important instruction:


    -Set up survey team as in Group member.
    -Plan the work accordingly (all the necessary equipment and
    method must be known: notes from slides or survey books)
    -Submit the work upon practical work completion
    (report on working procedure, calculation (use rise & fall and
    also height of collimation method) and discussion/conclusion- 6
    to 8 pages, font arial 11 size font double spacing)
    TASK 2
    2. Do the earthwork (cut & fill) on your selected construction
    site
    -Set up survey team as in your Group member
    -Plan the work accordingly (all the necessary equipment and
    method must be known: notes from slides or survey books)
    -Submit the work upon practical work completion
    (report on working procedure, calculation and
    discussion/conclusion, 6 to 8 pages, font arial 11 size font
    double spacing)
    VIDEO RECORDING IF FOR PRESENTATION IN
    CONSTRUCTION WEEK (WEEK 13)
    -Only need 1 video recording for all task- (levelling work and
    total station work)
    -Duration for video is 8 to 10 minutes
