1 Klein was the first designer to win three consecutive Coty

Awards for womenswear (1973–75) and was the
youngest designer of ready-to-wear clothes ever elected
to the Coty Hall of Fame (1975).

He received the President’s Medal from the Art

achievement in advertising

In 1991, he received the American Academy of

In 1974, Klein designed the tight-fitting signature jeans that

4 went on to gross $200,000 in their first week of sales. In that
same year he also became the first designer to receive
outstanding design in men's and women's wear from the
Council of Fashion Designer of America (CFDA) award
show.

with Jennie Kim from 2021, singer and

co-created collection that takes cues from
her wardrobe essentials.
The line, ‘Jennie for Calvin Klein’,

through the use of a pastel colour
