From Grass-Fed
Cows in Ireland

Avonmore Butter is made from the milk of grass-fed cows in Ireland.

On average 90% of our cow’s diet is grass.*
The rich Irish pasturelands that our dairy cows graze, help to make one
of the softest, most spreadable butters in the world with a unique
golden hue and distinct flavour. This uniquely golden colour occurs
naturally as a result of beta carotene in fresh grass.

to make one of the softest, most spreadable butters in the world with a

Butter From Grass-fed Cows
The Nutritional Facts

Studies have shown that a number of bioactive ingredients are naturally higher in the milk of
cows that graze on fresh pastures than that of grain-fed animals
– including higher levels of conjugated linoleic acids (CLAs).

In addition, butter from grass-fed animals is typically higher in the

nutrients Omega 3, Beta carotene and vitamin A.

Butter from grass-fed has higher omega-3 and lower omega-6 and therefore has
a better ratio of these fats compared to non-grass-fed.

Beta-carotene is a form of vitamin A, vitamin A is higher in

grass-fed as the beta-carotene content is higher
