On WRAT4, his overall performance ranged from the
Average to the Below Average range. Thus, indicating that
some areas serve as strength, whereas, some serve as
areas of growth.

Word Reading abilities’ score of 97 lies in the Average


range which indicates that there is no significant problem
in word recognition and reading.

Sentence Comprehension abilities’ score of 76 lies in the


Low range which indicates that there are problems faced
in verbal comprehension. This can be correlated with the
Word Reading score for better understanding that, the
client is able to identify and recognize words; however, he
faces some difficulty in comprehending those words in a
series in the form of sentences.
Spelling abilities’ score of 79 lies in the Below Average range which
indicates the client has difficulty in comprehending sounds of words as
well as to write those words.

Math Computation abilities’ score of 109 lies in the Average to Above


Average range which indicates that numerical understanding potentially
serves as an area of strength for the client.

Reading Composite score of 85 lies in the Below Average range which


indicates that reading serves as an area of concern which can be
correlated with the Sentence Comprehension score of the client
showing that individual words are still better understood by the client.
However, he faces difficulty in understanding the words in a series
hence, effecting his reading and his verbal comprehension.
And so, his areas of strength lie in mathematical skills and numerical
computations. This domain is relatively higher for the client as
compared to the other domains. Whereas, the areas of growth for the
client are Sentence Comprehension, Spelling and then Word Reading
which correlates with the client’s presenting complaints.
