Introduction to Lakhodair Landfill Site
• Pakistan's first sanitary landfill site has developed at
Lakhodair Lahore.
• It was executed on 2013 where as its contraction years
are 2014-2015 and in April 2016 it was ready for its
concern work.
• The area consists of the capacity of 6 lots, out of which
only 2 lots are being used right now LOT-I and LOT-II.
• The selected site is located 15 kms away from the City
Centre and comprises of depressions, ditches and
barren land.
