Descriptive teks
Descriptive text or descriptive text is a text that explains or describes people, animals or
objects in terms of shape, characteristics, number and so on. The purpose of descriptive
text is to explain, describe, or reveal a person or an object.

Pronoun
Noun : Menggunakan kata benda yang spesifik, seperti misalnya my cat, my boyfriend,
National Monument, Selain itu, sering juga menggunakan adjective (kata sifat) untuk
memperjelas penggunaan noun atau kata benda, seperti a big house, a smart student, an
independence woman.
Simple Present Tense

Characteristics of Descriptive Text Simple

present tense: uses basic verbs or the first form
(verb 1) and uses verbs that can show
ownership or state of an object. Descriptive
text uses simple present tense because
descriptive text tells a fact about the object
being described. For example, My office has 22
floors, Azka is pretty, and so on.
 Giving apinion & Agreement

Giving opinion
a way to give an opinion or give an opinion. Before expressing an opinion or idea that is
on your mind, you must know how to start the sentence correctly. So that other people can
easily understand your opinion.
Example :

• I think/Personally I think… (Menurutku…/Secara pribadi, menurutku…)

• In my opinion/In my humble opinion…. (Menurut pendapatku…)

• From my point of view… (Dari sudut pandangku…)To/in my mind… (Menurut

pikiranku…)
 Agreement
Agreement is an expression that expresses
agreement or the same opinion we have with
someone. The following are some examples of
sentences that express agreement: I agree with
you That's right

Example :
•I agree with you (saya setuju denganmu)
•That’s right (itu benar)
•You are right (kamu benar)
•I couldn’t agree more (saya sangat setuju sekali)
•I think you are right (menurut saya kamu benar)
 Analytical Exposition

Analytical exposition text is a type of text that aims to explain opinions or

arguments about something in a logical way. This text focuses on in-depth
analysis and explanation of the topic discussed, as well as providing the
author's opinion on the topic.

Objective :
The purpose and function of analytical exposition is to express opinions accompanied by
logical arguments so that readers are convinced that the topic being discussed is important

Analytical Exposition introduction :

Thesis
Structure This section serves to introduce the topic that will be discussed in the text.
Arguments In this section, the author can explain in more detail about the topic discussed.
Reiteration/Conclusion The last part is the conclusion. Here, the author will repeat the
thesis statement and main arguments that have been presented previously.
