What is projectile motion
Projectile motion refers to the motion of an object
that is thrown or projected into the air and is
subject only to the force of gravity. This type of
motion occurs in two dimensions, with both
horizontal and vertical components, and is
characterized by a curved path known as a
trajectory. The object moves horizontally at a
constant velocity while accelerating vertically due
to gravity, resulting in a parabolic trajectory.
